Tia Sajewski’s journey is a testament to her determination and adaptability. After a physics and mathematics undergraduate degree, she entered education. Yet, her passion for data science, cultivated during undergraduate research, propelled her to pursue a PSM degree in data science.
In 2018, Tia graduated and transitioned to a Data Science Analyst role at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Her journey from education to data science began with hands-on data analysis during research projects. Today, she is a Senior Data Science Analyst in the Analytics Center of Excellence at BCBSM. In just five years, Tia’s transformation into data science has been life-changing, highlighting the potential for remarkable career shifts through determination and education.
